Hey Monday will release their sophomore album early this summer, and title the disc Beneath It All, on Decaydence/Columbia Records. The songs on the album were all co-written by the band's charismatic lead singer and front woman, Cassadee Pope.

Spending time in both New York City and Los Angeles, Pope collaborated with a diverse range of songwriters, including The Rolling Stones Hot List 'Producers of the Year' Sam Hollander and Dave Katz (Boys Like Girls, Cobra Starship), Eric Bazilian and Rob Hyman of The Hooters (Bazilian penned "One of Us" by Joan Osbourne), Matt Scannell (Vertical Horizon"), and Butch Walker (Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry). The album was produced by S*A*M and Sluggo (Hollander and Katz) at Fresh Kills in New York City.

The band also graced the cover of Alternative Press magazine's April issue which includes a 5-page interview covering Hey Monday's achievements and challenges over the past 2 years.
